These few weeks included meeting up with friends, and catching up after graduation. There's this sense of accountability in come ways, when you seem to have the need to talk about your work or new working environment.
The discussion often revolve around new prospects, exciting rookie mistakes, bosses and to some extent, colleagues whom we all ask, "walao why is this person even paid a saLary?!"
It calms me to know that I'm not the only one facing such problems...I guess the good thing about having people your generation as friends is that you go through the knocks together? Some last, some don't.
These days, I've been in 2 places. One part of my mind revolves around the need to want to do something more with my life - the drive and ambition. Another part tells me that some things besides your own personal achievement is more important; catching up with friends and staying connected in each other's lives.
This experience with my masters have given me some time to reflect and ponder about my direction and to rethink my position. On the other hand, I'm also taking up things like French, working on a play and department magazine and just generally catching up with reading to keep myself motivated.
So what have I been up to? Nothing much and yet everything at the same time.
