airport..AGAIN
Yesterday, just as when I was just finished talking to Cat on msn and was bored watching re-runs of NCIS and Bones, Guanyu called me and said "HEY! YOU WANNA GO AIRPORT OR NOT?!"
O.O
I have known what it means to be impromptu, but this is way off my charts. I looked down at my comfy pyjamas and there was absolutely no doubt that I'm going. Totally bored to tears at home and my brain was vying for some action. So less than 10mins later, xinglin, benji and guanyu arrived in the car and I hoped into the front seat (heehee) and we were zooming all the way to changi airport. We arrived at 9:35pm and it was so packed! The parking lots were filled such that we have to park at B3. So we got out and saw that EVERYWHERE was packed. TCC, Yakun…everywhere.
We ended up going to Killiney Kopitiam to have supper after an hour of talking cock, I was craving for some ice-cream and since TCC was just around the corner, we hopped next door. I ordered dessert since I had a craving for cheese cake and ice-cream =)
In any case, the drink arrived quickly and I stole a sip of cookies and cream from Xinglin. I mean it's cookies and cream, you HAVE to steal a sip. My dessert finally came, and it looks pretty on the plate does it not?

BUT! It's not mine. My dessert took more than 15mins to come, and when it came, I was looking at it suspiciously. Because the dish wasn't the same as the one shown in the picture. I just thought maybe it was a difference in arrangement and happily ate all the biscuits and ice-cream, until i bit into the 'cheesecake' and realised it was warm pudding.
The Horror.
Then the table behind us were making a fuss about getting their orders mixed up as well. The situation ended up with us eating their food and vice-versa. The waiters keep getting the orders mixed up so badly that they kept serving food that we didn't order to our tables. It happened so many times that the next time it happened, I smiled at the waiter and said "if it's for free, please by all means it's ours." The waiter apologised and walked away.
It was so bad! But in the end, I did get the dish after another 20mins of waiting. The dessert finally came with melted ice-cream =( so sad. The cheesecake didn't taste that good as well…oh well, TCC at Changi has had better days.
In any case, thanks once again for Xinglin - such a sport to drive us on the whim to Changi airport for this late night rendezvous. Looking forward to more of such nights! =D
