Life Expectancy: 65 Years

Claud

An avid collector of your hopes and worries, a romantic at heart.

She thanks her fairies, for blessing her with people who know compassion down to an art.

For accepting her for who she is, who never fails to turn up,

in times of need as well as happiness, or just there for a loving hug.

Key to my life is B Minor

I haven't stepped out of my house in 4 days. No buying food doesn't count ok? That's mode of subsistence.

I'm head to piano lesson in a short while, which I haven' practised for. My mind is all occupied with readings that I can't really think about anything else.

Yes, not very good company these few days.

and that stupid bitch that lives in block 727 never even sms to say hello. =(

Meeting my girls tomorrow, hopefully mood will be better after gym. On a brighter note, XY got into NYP! I'm so happy for her! OMG…I hope things turn for the better from now on for my fellow Virgo.

In any case, took up Prof Ho's advice to follow up on the election news (he actually said, "be Kay-poh abit lah!") HAHA…so much for political apathy. I have been following up, and a reading by Banajee just reminded me something - the idea of cyberspace replacing public spaces (as they were declining in late 20th Century America) as places of civic participation. True? Political news on facebook and comments by others makes us seemed "forced" to listen to what others have to say, it's unlike London's speaker's corner, or Grand Central Park in New York, where people can choose to stop and listen or move on.

Brings up memories about what my secondary two english teacher said to me, "Claudia, you should be a politician" after reading an essay I wrote. This has been tagging me for a while, and I don't think politics is for me - after all, I'm really public-shy.

So all the stress, hype about elections and lack of music has synthesized and congealed into a craving for bach. More specifically, Bach Paritita in B minor, Overture. It's in B minor, a sad key (stress, quiet suffering) and it's has a distinct section where there's movement and tension (hype and anticipation for election). In any case, I hope to play it soon after exams =D

If you have taste of melancholic and the piano, it'll be cool to listen to this.

(p.s. nice to see a female pianist for once)
