An avid collector of your hopes and worries, a romantic at heart.
She thanks her fairies, for blessing her with people who know compassion down to an art.
For accepting her for who she is, who never fails to turn up,
in times of need as well as happiness, or just there for a loving hug.

Whirlwind
Today was quite an awesome day =D
Morning's weather is beautiful to sleep in, which I did. Snoozed for 1hour before killing the alarm and resetting it at 8:30am instead. HAHA! Yes, I originally wanted to wake up at 7am to jog.
Determination much.
So trudged my way down to Earthlab for a geog tea-session and to have an informal chat with the geog profs. You can really see who is popular in the department…HAHA! I think it's so amusing. Anyway, changes to the syllabus don't really affect me, except the Fiji trip which is offered next year. I feel quite excited. HAHA! But it does screw up my module planning a little.
So after that, head to library to type out a personal essay for the IARU Fellowship, talked to Kris some about life's little bits and the movie timings etc. After that, head to deck to have a gender meeting. Met shuj on the way out of central library, we chatted for like half and hour and we had so much to catch up on…pity I had to rush for gender =( straight after gender meeting was Lifecourse presentation meeting - which was like damn stressful and stress-relieving at the same time. Fik and I kept joking about Jin's hair, or rather the lack of it and poor Shinni was being ignored about because her part was so hard to fit into the whole theme of the presentation. I was being made fun of as having 'no life'…LOL... Hilarious meeting and skipping Toyota's lecture was so worth it.
So later headed down to harbourfront (and met Shuj and Mr. Shuj on the bus again!) to meet Beryl and Kris for Gnomeo and Juliet. It's Kris's first time watching 3D. It was such a brainless movie and seriously, it was therapy for the harried day I had. Winded down to dinner at "The Mussel Guys" and were expecting to watch the Crane performance across at RWS but it didn't happen. So was deliberating about walking the broadwalk, but my shoes weren't suited and were breaking (I'm about to throw them) so headed to Max Brenner for my peanut butter chockie craving while kris and beryl shared a marshmallow hot chocolate =D Talked about relationships and stuff, which is so precious because you can only do so with your girlfriends….I'm so happy meeting them! Although it was like half of 222's women, but I think it's a good thing we're going out separately on our own…I guess friendship at this point can only grow stronger? I am optimistic.
Such cleansing for the soul….I finally am back on track and I'm so glad…I went home with like Dave Brubeck's Take 5 and my favourite tunes. Now, I'm blogging to Joshua Bell's CD on the stereo system since Elga returned it to me today…
The simplest things often bring me the most pleasure. While once in a while, having a 'high' is great, but too many 'highs' make those bland and I sometimes just seek the simplicity of good company, good food and good music.
I'm such a sensual person. HAHA!
I was telling the girls today that if there were a heaven, I would want it to be Max Brenner, with all my favourite people in the world, just talking and having good time.
Food should be more than just taste and sensation, the good company is also for the soul - your sould feeds on good company and those nourishment builds something inside intangible that just puts a smile to your face and comforts you in times of adversity.
Today's just a day of good company and laughter. I wish every Friday can be like so...
