An avid collector of your hopes and worries, a romantic at heart.
She thanks her fairies, for blessing her with people who know compassion down to an art.
For accepting her for who she is, who never fails to turn up,
in times of need as well as happiness, or just there for a loving hug.

Simulating Life
These days I'm kinda of hooked on building houses on Sims 3…it's just because I keep thinking my creativity cannot make it, so this is a good way to jolt some of those creative juices running.
I'm also addicted to piano jazz on Sky.fm (on iTunes). It's just stimulating enough for me to want to start to do work.
[In the mean time, I'm seriously contemplating if I should do work at home or go to school for the only lecture I have.]
So Saturday I went down with Cat to cover the Singapore Biathlon for her module and learn how to use the DSLR…I believe I'm becoming addicted to the camera. In any case, managed to capture the sun just rising from the horizon =) It's been a long time since I've see sunrise. After the race, Cat managed to interview a few people for her article and she even saw her tutor competing! So cool can? Her tutor actually won the race! I don't think I'll ever be able to do biathlons, it's just so mind-boggling and while I'm starting to like exercise, this is just way off the planet. Having said that, the future can change so *shrugs*
Just the other day I was in lecture and a passing feeling just came to my mind. Undergraduate lectures are starting to bore me. I don't know if it's just because I'm bored at the modules I'm taking this semester (because I seriously wish I didn't have to take environmental sustainability), or just that I'm bored with the content so far. I actually enjoy the readings, doing research more than the lectures itself.
Random thought 1: I want to do a documentary on Singapore's architecture! Not Esplanade or National Museum Architecture, but the UOB building or RI schools kind of day-to-day architecture.
Random thought 2: You can never get cabs when you want them. That day chris and I were alternating between whether to take the bus or cab home. It was because his sandal broke and so we told ourselves that we'll take the cab. After waiting for 10mins, there were no cabs available, so we decided to take the bus. Before you know it, a line of green lights streamed down the road and so after a while, we decided to switch back to taking a cab, and then there were no cabs. But 2 of our buses came back to back and both were empty. WTH RIGHT?!
Random thought 3: I found that I kind of like interviewing people. Not the reporter kind of way.
Random thought 4: I want to buy a book called "Intellectuals and Society" and read it for flaws. But first, I need a new book shelf and THAT has been slow-coming.
Random thought 5: I decided not to go for lecture.
