time of the month
ok...one frivolous (as compared to the entries the past month) entry coming right up!
Random fact, I have 2 versions of 眼泪 one by the original and the other by 张学友...my iTunes shuffled in such a way that they ended up playing back to back...what are the odds!
another thing is that Chris is moving house tomorrow! =D he don't want my help wor...HAHAHA, i suspect it's because i'm super anal about organisation (and he's messy) and we'll end up quarrelling. The positive thing is that I get to see Sox more often (he's the dog) because he now literally lives 1 street away from me. HAHA...I live street 22, he lives street 21...=D love it when my friends and family live so close! <3
So it was a pretty eventful week:
first week of school started out right away, with assignments and tests coming up, plus readings for first week and not to mention that I didn't get my tutorial slots which screws up my timetable entirely....T.T
a scary thing happened and although it's not gone, i sure hope the outcome will be favourable.
got my investments FINALLY undergoing...been procrastinating for too long now.
So there are some highlights:
went out with XY to buy JL's present for his birthday that happened this Sunday. Decided on buying cologne because we thought it'll be a nice touch of adulthood...the thing was which cologne to buy. So we were at Sasa smelling the samples there and half the time XY was saying "this one smell like JH" or "This one smell like 风油" or "cannot! this one like 如意油”...
yes, and finally decided on Davidoff's Cool Water, only to realise that Adrian had the exact same bottle. It was a little bit of a bummer, because we were trying to avoid clashes. Then again, XY said ADG got it 3 years ago, the fact he hasn't finished using it was just plain unlucky la...
So headed to Chinatown to buy, because they have other lines which are less popular and we thought to try our luck there. Passed by Koi to get bubble tea since the queue wasn't obscenely long.
THE GUY CASHIER AT KOI WAS SUPER CUTE?! I don't usually go goo-goo gaga ok? But he's was seriously cute and I was super distracted half the time. XY asked me if I wanted pearls, and although I didn't, I still said yes. HAHAHA! I suspect it's because of the time of the month (for ladies) >.<
Anyway, we I wanted to go back for Five more but my wallet wouldn't allow it.
yup...so headed to Bugis Street to get JL a belt as well, since so many of us are sharing I thought we could afford the luxury of another present.
In any case, we went to Chowon Korean restaurant at Peck Seah Street the next to pig out and it was really interesting. Had Kimchi pancake, ginseng chicken (which is awesome) and some other un-identified food...HAHA, half the time I don't know what I'm eating. Went to Mac's for desserts and the strawberry milkshake I had was sweet to the point of poison. Got a call from Nat saying that she can't make it because she's tied down helping her mum at the shop. Beryl said it wasn't unexpected because she knows the shop has a lot of business...
I was quite apologetic about getting a Banana Chocolate cake/tart from Fruits Paradise for JL...didn't know that he don't like Banana (who doesn't like Bananas?!)...=( so we ended up eating the cake for him...ok la, 22nd we buy STRAWBERRY ok?
So august marks the birthdays of JL and Liya...which is happening next sunday! Looking forward to that as well! and of course, there's September!
Happy 21st Jia Liang! Hope life treats you well!
