An avid collector of your hopes and worries, a romantic at heart.
She thanks her fairies, for blessing her with people who know compassion down to an art.
For accepting her for who she is, who never fails to turn up,
in times of need as well as happiness, or just there for a loving hug.

senility
I finally understand the heirlooms of gold, cheques of inheritances and the desperate need to see us so soon.
My grandmother of 86 (estimated age because she doesn't know her birthday) is losing her memory. My uncle called us yesterday to tell us of the info.
I always thought my grandmother is some iron woman, working even at this age and taking for granted that she will continue to do so into eternity.
I confess I don't like changes of the negative kind. In any case, I suppose I should make time to visit her soon. My grandfather always said, "don't wait till I'm in the coffin to cry, because I can't hear you anymore. I don't need wayang during my funeral."
How true isn't it?
