term paper
Did i mention that for this semester, I think I could have possibly written the worse term paper in my entire life? I think my friends already have heard this rant. but I just want to say it for the last time.
Dear Mr. Bourdieu,
I am so glad that you had laid your head to rest. I really love your concept, even your writings. But I think your popularity (for good or bad reasons) is giving me a personal headache. I really wish that you were alive so that I can email you and I wished i could have picked someone my own size (like more Durheim-ish or Marx-ish). So I just want to let you know that this is the most painful 1500 word term paper that I have to write and in a sense, I really am grateful to you for making me 'grow' as an academic. No, i really meant it, it's not sarcastic. So I wish I get an A(+) for writing about you and taking you on (after all the effort taken, I think I deserve it). Well, just to let you know, my tutor is not a fan of your habitus concept. In any case, R.I.P!

Yes...I can't wait to meet up with 222 soon!
HAHA...I really wanna thank all my uni friends for helping me proof-read my papers. I think my writings are personally not easy to read...LOL (Bourdieu-ed eh?) and the topics I choose to write on are even more 'out there in the galaxy'...so yes, i enjoyed reading too!
the term is drawing to a close soon and I am glad to have made new friends.
I really enjoyed SC2204's tutorials and SC3101 =) I think they're both such great classes. Marranci and Vincent are such great tutors - learnt so much from them.
GE2206 too! I can't wait for the presentation and Collin's tutorials are always so fruitful...it's a constant process of learning - which i totally enjoyed
One more presentation and a 4000 word essay and I'm done for the term.
(p.s. my maid was so cute; she placed the flowers from Kenneth, Junwei, Xuan, Nicolette and Sion, Cat and Andre, on my study desk. Now I am happy every morning being reminded of the fantabulous performance!)
