Claud
An avid collector of your hopes and worries, a romantic at heart.
She thanks her fairies, for blessing her with people who know compassion down to an art.
For accepting her for who she is, who never fails to turn up,
in times of need as well as happiness, or just there for a loving hug.

Little Ironies
I took this picture quite some time ago while doing research for my paper on social class and child-rearing methods.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm actually doing a childhood and youth module rather than a population society module.
OK, back to the point.
In any case, I was in the midst of the racks of Family and Chilldhood Youths when the juxtaposition of these two books, incidentally being laid side by side, struck me as a curious irony.
Book on the right proclaims, "The Way We Really Are."Book on the Left counters, "The Way We Never Were."
Indeed, I checked if someone purposely placed it there as a joke. It seems to be not the case. The call numbers ran in sequence. So I can only conclude that sometimes, humour can be found in the oddest of places. Furthermore, it's found in the most paradoxical of all places - the NUS academic library. The last place for any humour of this kind to take place.
If you are not humoured, I suggest living a little.
Now, that is ironic, coming from a person like me.
Life's little ironies =)
