Abel and Cain
The first murder in the Book of Genesis was a fratricide.
Sometimes i wonder if the bible scholars have got it all wrong. Maybe Abel wasn't the victim, maybe it was Cain.
Some crimes are beyond the law. I just recently know someone, whose parents have totally given up on the family and once the kids have grown up, are demanding half of their kids salary as 'compensation' for their existance as a one big fucking mistake. How do u persecute ppl liddat?
Maybe, just drawing a metaphor using Abel and Cain, Abel pushed Cain too far ("You're useless." "You're not good enough for God" etc etc) and Cain, being human and erred in nature, snapped and killed Abel.
What if the crimes done to my family was never punished. What if I snapped and decided that enough was enough and these people don't deserve justice.
I'm worried that i'll snap like Cain did and I may not be able to seek redemption like him.
Sometimes, people go too far.
The only reason we're not fighting back, is because a) it's a waste of time, resources and dignity b) we don't have evidence, not yet. c) there's more at stake.
C) is about to become history (hopefully) by end of this month. we've taken action on b) and a) is only a matter of time it becomes irrelevant.
I'm a heartless bitch when it comes to making other people pay. They're lucky my dad is not that heartless.
