under the fire
today, since my grandma kept complaining that she's the second maid in the house, i volunteered my time and effort to cook.
I was so naive to actually think that my grandma will allow me to have the kitchen to myself...end up i'm like stirring the vegetables on her behalf while having her breathe down my neck about every single thing else.
HAIZ...
now i now where my control issues come from.
but on a brighter note, my bergeder came out quite nicely...except for the part where my onions burnt and all the mutton in the world seems to have sold out. HAHAHA...but other than that, it tasted quite nicely =) and my grandma had to accuse me of stealing bites before meals. walao! come on leh...i told her that i'm TESTING the food in case everyone else got food poisoning...old people....=.=
in anycase...i'm happy that i cooked for my family...maybe i shud do it more often and put my grandma out of job. HAHAHA
