I need to stop watching True Blood and stop reading Laura Hamilton. It's too disturbing. I think for the pass few months, i've had a vampire overload. This is because Twilight, The Dresden Files, The Southern Vampire Mysteries etc have too much in common. It's not about the vampire that is common, but the similarities the vampire seem to share their "unique" characteristics.

I don't like copy cats. I don't care who started it first, but by far, i'm less peeved by Jim Butcher's Dresden Files because despite many similarities, Jim uses those characteristics differently and Dresden is way cool. Ok, so i have a weakness for old fashioned save-damsel's-ass men.
