Tahan~
I'm a person who gets irritated easily.
This god-forsaken weather is not helping. Not to mention that after watching Knowing, it makes me suspicious of this weather even more. So please tell me we're not all going to die burning to death?
In any case, i've been going to school pretty often these days and being on the MRT for a good 40mins is enough to get my irritated from Yishun to Clemeti.
I'll tell u why.
As i enter the MRT station in Yishun, I'm met with repetitive announcements of "Please stand behind the Yellow Line. Please stand behind the Yellow Line. Thank you. 请站在黄线后面 etc etc..." in 4 different languages. THEN, as i enter the train, they tell me that "Doors are Closing, TEET TEET TEET TEET TEET". Then as we're leaving Yishun, they kindly remind the passengers that "If you see any suspicious articles, please inform the service staff, or call 999. Thank you.如果您看到可疑物件,请向我们的etc. etc." in 4 different languages. Then WHEN i reach admiralty (like 2 stops away from Yishun) they tell me that "The Last bus leaves at 11:30pm" (i missed the first part of the announcement because i was reading) and then the train is blissfully silent until we reach Kranji when they repeat the bus announcement again, and then at Bukit Gombak, they repeat the suspcious articles again and when we're approaching Jurong the train tells us to "This train is approaching the middle platform. Please hold on to the grabpoles." and when i alight and move to platform B to change my train to Clementi, "Please stand behind the Yellow Line, Please stand behind the Yellow Line."

DO YOU FEEL AS IRRITATED READING THIS AS I AM?
every day, u listen to the same piece of *toot* and then vice versa on ur way back home. AND NOW! they want to install this system on SMRT buses. When they planted the TV mobile in SBS, i'm already pissed, then now they want to do this to us...
Pardon our ears, PLEASE!
Now, we can't even ride the train in peace without being reminded daily and 15min-ly about the constrictions in our lives. Like all Singaporeans don't know that standing behind the Yellow Line is for our own safety already. Aren't they supposed to like teach this is in primary school or something? The next thing i know they'll be putting out broadcast during traffic lights to tell people to only cross when the green man flashed.
=.="
Suddenly, Miley Cyrus's Breakout seems like the perfect song to go with this post. nUGGET
