Valentine's day!
I really want to blog about it NOW...but my dad's grumbling and he's not in a good mood...shall talk abt it tonight! =)
_________________________________________________________
Ok! I'm back from the back-breaking yoga lesson...hahaha
So on to update my V-day! Actually i spent the first few hours of my V-day mass sending e-cards to friends whom i have photos of. HAHAHA...i don't know whether jh or xj will be online, so i didn't send =P sorry guys!
Meanwhile, i found this really nice e-card thingy called smilebox. I had e-cards that look that real virtual cards. On one hand, it was so pretty that it discouraged me from setting my own online ecard business, and the other, i fell for it totally and i don't mind that hallmark does a better job than i am =)
So anyway, i went to spend my afternoon with yvonne to do some catching up with my readings and then listen to her problems with her gpmates and all...it really seems that life getting into people no matter where you look...oh well, but she's my valentine's day date too! Although i was actually dating the readings. HAHAHA...
later i went to my piano teacher's house to have lesson and then at night i met chris! His first book out! So cute la...his new hair is suits him better than the old one. I would very much like share, but pictures are off limits. bitch *sulks* but he "surprised" me with a bouquet of roses outside my piano teacher's house!
hahaha...why "surprised" because the day before i HINT HINT about valentine's day...lucky for that guy, he understoon immediately lah...i still tell him, "don't you dare pluck random bushes from tekong arh! i will kill you..." but in my heart, i know v-day flowers are hideously expensive and to tell you the truth, a stalk of whatever is good enough...
BUT BUT BUT...
i got this instead....
So sweet right? He got me guessing how much they cost...then i anally said, "10 bucks?" the was like "HUH! YOU WISH, GIRL FRIEND! IT'S 25 FREAKING BUCKS!" i was stunned into silence...hahahaha...and very touched at the same time and feeling all the more guilty. =P but hey! I'm his lao po...i'm entitled...HAHAHAHA
then we ate at pepper lunch and talked about tekong and his bunk mates and some ghost stories he witnessed second hand (thank god). It was a really dear day. To tell you the truth, i really don't feel like going out these days to meet people...but i know how his first book out means so much to him that i kinda gave in. it turned out to be quite a day =) The couples on orchard road (hetero or not) are a dear to see...some girls were holding flowers smiling (i was one of them) and some were holding flowers sulking...
You know what's the part i liked most? To be treated like a lady...hahaha, and hell it's about time...HAHAHA, maybe i should mix with more guys, gay or not.
and no, i do not like chris romantically.
oh yah yvonne, if you're reading this, he wants to thank you for the recommendation and that blur bitch forgot to wrap the cover of the book. He's so gonna get what he asked for....*rolls eyes* but he thanks you from the bottom of his heart for keeping his literacy and intelligence in army...=)
In conclusion, it was quite a pleasant, quiet and fond valentine's day. I doubt i'll ever forget the little details like showing me through a crowded area and the flowers...It's totally cliche, but it's romantic and i know it's something that came from the bottom of the heart. Which makes it all the more meaningful. It would have meant the same if any of my girlfriends did it for me too =)
international friendship day everyone!
