ok! i shall talk about happy stuff today.

I was reading kris's blog abt her haerbin days in china and i can't help thinking of something.

In the pic that says, "p.s. we're all smiling.", 2 thoughts came

i) why do we bother to smile still ( i would too) even when we know our faces are covered? Reflex?

ii) Even if kris lied (not that she did), we wouldn't know that those 5 people may be random strangers. HAHAHA...

that's how it kind got me thinking about the NASA space landing. Did Neil Armstrong smiled behind that totally opaque sun visor when a photo was taken of him putting the US flag on the moon? was THAT even Armstrong to begin with?

HAHAHA...just random cute thoughts.

Yesterday i celebrated chris birthday, nic couldn't make it last min because of her mum. GAH

It was a simple affair. We went to Thai Express and i was contemplating between which dishes to choose from...(i tend to do that in front of chris, for god knows why) and decided to charm the waiter into recommending something. Hahaha...so i was like, "eh, very expensive leh, you paying for me right?" Then chris was like, "huh? no la, crazy - bitch." HAHAHA...then i was, "aiyo, joking la, i also don't expect you to pay....just abit broke this month..."

then he said, "ok la, i pay for you."

hahaha....ok, besides the fact that for the 1st time in my life, a guy paid for me, i was even more surprised that i excepted. Because waideck did try to pay for my Guess wallet once, and i rejected him flat....FLAT.

AND NO, i do not have a crush on chris. we're just VERY VERY good friends.

so ya lor..it wasn't a big amount - don't worry...i'm not that guo fen.

Hahaha...i did treat him a few bits of cheesecake from the coffee bean afterwards! -my feeble attempts to break even on a budget -

yah..

so anything, we were shopping on Tue and he said that he really really wants the body shop White Musk for Men body wash. But i've already bought and wrapped his present, i can't positively buy another (ka-ching). So i kind of panicked and felt bad that i can't give him what he wanted on his birthday. So i rememberd that Nic still hasn't got him a gift, so i asked her whehter she want me to buy and then she pay me after tt. Much to my relief, she agreed.

Then chris smsed his ah bang to buy for him. OOHH....KAY.....red alert. I could potentially have chris getting 2 identical bottles on his birthday. I know how bitchy that feels like. HAHAHA. So i tricked him into trying a shirt and a vest (to remind me of Patrick Jane!), i asked for his hp to pretend to help him hold it.

So i quickly keyed in ah bang's number and told him to tell chris that, "you'll pass the gift on sat so that he won't buy again." Hahaha...problem solved! then right after i sent the msg, a few mins later, chris was like, "YES! MY AHBANG GOING TO BUY FOR ME!"

lol...its kinda hurting - but i know it's temporary.

then his ah bang asked me what to get for his bday. I asked him for budget and recommended the perfume - the one that Chris wanted all along.

So this sat, my dear lao gong is going to have another surprise and by process of elimination - he wouldn't have expected to get the perfume on sat =)

I just LOVE surprises....HEEHEE...it's abit overdue (and sorry for slipping it out of my mind) but HAPPY 19TH!
