Money --> solved
Earlier today, i complained about experiencing the pinch and having my budget strapped to macdonald's ice-cream.
Then...today my dad's eldest sis gave me a 100bucks and told me to keep the money. I was reluctant to keep it because i) it's not chinese new year yet and ii) she never gave me money before. It it was my grandma or uncle, then maybe it's like a habit that they give me money. But my dad's eldest sis? that was a first..O.O
she works in NUS too and told me that she had a bonus and gaving me the knowing smile that i need to "eat, print notes and do project" next year...so she gave me pocket money on my mum's behalf..
oh man...i am so blessed to have such great relatives who actually went the extra length think on behalf of my dad and me.
=)
Meanwhile today waideck dropped by and we spent like half and hour talking about my mum and my plans for the future....thanks buddy!
AND...surprise surprise! one of my mum's ex-colleague (gosh, she has so many) couldn't make it so he sent his son to see my mum. guess who his son was...
it was joshua wong from our geog tutorial class! When he came into the room, i thought he was visiting the person next to my mum (because she looked old enough to be a mother). But he stopped in front of my mum's bed and saw me...later, we talked abit and he left...=)
how nice of him to come on behalf of his dad to see my mum.
i guess there are good and caring people in this world and not all are heartless and deceiving...
see chris? sometimes, you can trust people too!
