Me, a china worker
I don't want to sound discriminatory okay and so i'm going to say this outfront: I don't like being mistaken for someone else, some other identity, age or occupation. Never did dealt with it properly, i reckon i never will.
2 weeks ago, i was walking home from the bus stop and there was this guy on a bike and he stopped in front of me abruptly. to be honest, i was kinda scared that he was going to attack me. but he later asked, "你从工厂来的是吗?" in a beijing accent. i quickly said no and walked away quickly.
wa lao....i know i am a hai nam moui (hainanese "sister"), but seriously man, i don't look china-ish at all lah.
then again, can't blame him also lah, i was walking from the direction of the factories also, it's only fair for him to assume.
STILL...i don't like to be mistaken or wronged. oh well....accidents occur too >.<"
