Claud
An avid collector of your hopes and worries, a romantic at heart.
She thanks her fairies, for blessing her with people who know compassion down to an art.
For accepting her for who she is, who never fails to turn up,
in times of need as well as happiness, or just there for a loving hug.

A tribute to Honda
Okay, if you're impatient or dont feel like reading today, just scroll down.
Meanwhile here are my rants.
i realised i'm in no position to complain. HAHAHA....my other classmate has MUCH more work to do. So the award goes to her hands down man..
on my way home from school that day, i was in the train with my music on to almost full volume. Even that, cannot extinguish the cries of 1 cranky baby and the banter of 3 Indian housewives and 4 Indonesian Tai-tais.
Gosh...三个女人,一个巴刹. 一个宝宝, 七个女人,无法能忍.
that day in Sociology, prof tan was telling us about "race". He believes that there is only 1 race, which is the human race. He substantiates by using a simple biological phenomenon. If human beings weren't one species, then why is is that when an african-american mated with a caucasian, they are able to have fertile off springs? Now compare that to scientists' attempts to produce a new breed of "Ligers" - Lion+ Tiger, their off springs cannot produce cubs of their own. This proves that human beings are of the same race.
I was quite amused by that.In fact it seemed that he did have a valid point. then again, who really knows?
then today, i was looking at satelite pictures of the earth....fascinated by it. it just augmented my love for Geology. Nevermind the complicated lab sessions where we have to process (gosh, even saying that word is understated) images using a software, but the appreciation that goes into satellite imaging is often neglected. We just see, hey, it's a pretty picture! There's my school.
You have no idea what goes behind that "pretty picture". So next time you take a look at Google Earth (which is used by the Quickbird satellite), remember that it's a mosaic of many individual scenes out together.
There's another point of fascination - which is this Honda Ad we first saw at Mdm Aisha's Globalisation lecture. This has no special effects, it was filmed entirely as you see it. Of course as expected, it took them A LONG time and many re-takes....=)
Enjoy! (P.S if you know car parts, you'll appreciate a lot of the little details)
And i couldn't resist showing this as well....for all choir (and perhaps band) people =) Notice that they filmed this in a carpark?
