today, my NUS group mates went to do interviews for our project =) and we met with a few interesting things. Before that, what do you think about our slogan?Do you think it'll be attractive and accurate?

The eyes super big and scary lor. But the doll, if you cover the face, can be quite pretty. It's more versatile than barbie where you can change the hair, the eye colour and the clothes. BUT...the eyes too big....
it's.just.too.scary.
SO....meanwhile, we learnt that in Singapore, there are about 5 known serious collectors left and overall, people are not collecting as much.
abit sad right? like barbie is falling out of fashion. I really want to start collecting again. Maybe when i have more dispensable cash or when my mum settles down on her job and all.=) No rushanyway, these are the pictures for this (wonderful) day~

This is a Hello Kitty Barbie by Mattel! So funny hor...there's a Melody doll too! Notice the hello kitty logo at the bottom of the box =)
oh yah, the eye lashes are something to talk about

The lashes are so thick such that they stick together like a huge piece of hardened hair. LOL....but i guess the effect that they are looking for is, well, eye-catching. =\
While in Orchard outside shaw house, we saw a maroon Ferrari...MAROON, i don't know about u, but i only see Red, Yellow, White and on occassion, Silver or Black Ferrari.Maroon is as rare as it comes.
After that, Jacky, my groupmate drove us to Chinatown to visit another shop, but it was quite a disappointment too. We were looking for parking spaces when we saw this really cool parking system.
You drive into a container, get out of the car and lock it. Later, on a touchscreen panel outside, you key in your 4 digit password of your choice. The container will then park your car. SO COOL RIGHT?your car is like a "box" stacked on top of each other. Think it like a shoe rack. this is how the carpark resembles. Gosh, i don't know if u can call it a car park anymore, more like a car apartment.

this is the carpark. =) The idea seems to come from Korea. it beats finding your car in an endless carpark like esplanade's right?
So here's how you collect your car, you go into a waiting room, and then key in that 4digit number....

and then after a few minutes... the panel will tell you which container to collect your vehicle.
VIOLA! and you drive away into the sunset.
HEEHEE...my groupmate quite rich right? Sportscar leh...although it's hyundai but still...LOL...Most of you know my parents's SUV is quite tall, so when i was trying to squeeze into the backseat of the 2-door vehicle, i almost knocked my head. =.= sometimes being tall is not a good thing.
(Note to self, when getting a sportscar, get a 4door)
After that we headed to esplanade on the way to the Merlion and interviewed some tourists on the way. Most of them were not sure about our tourism slogan. One lady was like "Is it Ultimately Singapore?" HAHAHAA....but they were generally nice. =)

That's Jiayun, my other groupmate. She's good friends with my primary sch good friend. World is so small man...
I took this picture because it was so tempting. The long walkway....hahahaha...ok, long continuous things attract me.
OK....this is the highlight of the day! In my opinion la...we randomly walked into Swissotel to ask some hotel service staff regarding our project.
AND>>>we saw the Ferrari(again) team checking in for this Friday's Grand Prix! it was an impressive display of red backpacks and luggages with Ferrari's logo on it. It was seriously WOW! I have always loved Ferrari...seeing them in Singapore kinda rekindles some passion for the pit-stop.
yeah, i love F1 racing for the pitstops.
So Fabulous....such team spirit...
heh heh heh...so a reporter caught me taking a picture of them and asked us if we were F1 Fans, sadly, no. So we jumped at the oppotunity and asked him about our project...=)
OKAY...that the recount of my long but interesting day!
The day before this, i was giving my dipoma classmate and her friend last min tuition for their econs exam today. Time really flies, and from 10pm to 1:45am, i was talking non-stop about econs...gosh...reached home at 2am...yeah, you didnt' read wrongly.
My classmate drove from Farrer Court (around Maritche Reservoir i think) to Yishun Blk 269 in 15mins. Why? That because she drove at 120km/hr and above. At one point, she drove at 160km/hr.
I did tell her to slow down - but her slow was 110km/hr - which is still damn fast.
it was a nail-biting experience and the whole way i was telling myself - if i die in an accident, i want everyone to know that i love you all....hurr hurr.
so Claudia lives to fight another day...*phew*
