who took the cookie from the cookie jar?

in primary school, i remember a nursery rhyme - who took the cookie from the cookie jar? who me? yes you!not me! then who?

it's a sweet memory...

so on thurs, i went to ikea with my mum to get some inspiration. it's an excuse really because we're not really getting anything. just to take a look around the giant play house...hahahaha

someone is going to move in with us tomorrow. her name's erin and she's the same age as me. she's taking her a'levels this year and so i guess i'll have a mugger around my house bah.

yeah, so we're making some adjustments to my room to accomodate one more person and seriously, i didn't know my room could expand! hahahaha...it's miraculous that 3m X 3m room can fit 2 single beds, a wardrobe, a bedside table AND the dreadful iron board.

i seriously wonder how my roomate is going to be like. does she snore? is she clean and hygienic?will she take a long time to bathe?

THAT'S the reason why i don't want to stay in a hostel. besides the fact that it's ridiculously expensive.

so yeah back to the cookie point...i baked a few cookies and put them in my new glass jar!you know those movies where they have those ultra warm kitchens with food everywhere and in some corner of the screen, you'll see a nice subtle cookie jar for the kids? yeah...i have one now!

so it's basically glass jar from ikea+cookie = cookie jar. heehee..it doesn't really have to write COOKIE JAR but i smile everytime i walk past it.

my mum and i have a disagreement which is - my mum doesn't like food lying around and the fridge to be stuffed with groceries. basically she buys what she needs. my dad and i however, like to stock up on condiments, herbs, meat and fish so that when the inspiration hits us, we can find the ingredients we want.

THAT'S why when we were at ikea, my mum and i were arguing about the type of kitchens we want. i told her it's ridiculous that the washbasin should be so far from the gashob(imagine running back and forth with bunches of chopped onions in ur hand, some are bound to filter through your fingers right?). and she said that it's perfectly all right the way it is.

hurr....mothers.
