today started out rather lethargically. I slept at 2am last night had to wake up at 9am because my dad and I had planned to go down to Citibank at bishan to ask about the educational loan. My eyes could hardly open...

so on the way to bishan in the train, I was reasoning with my dad about the benefits of going overseas to study. i pulled out all the rubbish reasons. the prestige, the long-term "investments", the security of a job, my future salary etc...My dad was rather silent, with some interjections of grave concerns. he can be a good listener if he wants to.

so when we reached the bank, the person told us that the staff in-charge of this is not around and referred us to her number instead. so we went all the way for nothing. NUGGET...

so while waiting for the train to head for centerpoint, i brought up the subject of buying laptops. like what brand, price-ranges etc. then the topic diverted into buying winter clothings, and when he can come and visit my mum and i. my dad promised to visit us during christmas and to stay for at least 10days. *BIG GRIN HERE*

while we were discussing that, my dad gave a shy smile. MY DAD. Shy smile. If my dad did that, who needs 4D/Toto?I feel like I've already won the bloody lottery. We were also talking about what he needs to fedex over. Something tells me that includes 1/2 of the house.

in any case, we went to centerpoint because my dad want to check out the new lacoste sports wear. (this is where I keep rolling my eyes)while my dad was trying on the shirt, I went to see some shoes and my dad ended up buying me a pair of walking pumps...They are truly comfortable and will NEVER give me blisters...just the type to bring to london. (key: If i ever get there)

oh and i made a list of what I want to complete by august.

1) To speak basic italian and to somewhat know how to pronounce french words (they are as confusing as their traffic)

2) To finish studying oscillations and forces from physics *lookins lovingly at vonk*

3) To finish Nicolette's present...HAHAHAHA, i hadn't complete it yet.=P

4) To go with all of my friends. Yes, all of you, whom i consider as a friend and who consider me as a friend.
