keepsakes and treasures
hahahaha....i guess my dreams of being a relief teacher is being dashed...
but on the bright side, at least i have a recommendation to another place to work. not that i mind at all, but really, i guess there's no point planning when you realise you don't have the power over your destiny afterall.
anyway, time really do fly and my uncle's wedding is tml! i just learnt that i'm going to speak in front of an intimate crowd of 160...shit man, and pw was only a crowd of less than 25...thank goodness i memorised the script early (not much really...) if not i'll be really worried by now.
so just to bring everyone up to speed, we went orchard swensen's to celebrate the jan babies!!hahaha....it turned out to be funny. reminds me of what happened to beryl that time. that time i was telling the manager if we could cut the cake that we brought in, then he said can't cause of halal purposes...so he suggested why not the 3 jan guys just stand on the chair and he'll call his "contingent" to sing a birthday song for them. and then he'll give us 3 birthday firehouse on the house - free in our terms- so he didn't ask them for approval, instead he insisted that i answer him.
who has the heart to reject a sabo? furthermore, who has the greater heart to reject free ice cream? *smiles innocently* you should have seen their faces...pure agony. oh yah...darren got the attention he wanted from the table next to ours - his eye candy was sitting right facing him. =P
so while eating the ice cream i gave them their bday presents...hahaha...got the due-thanks and chris had trouble opening his angel and demon orb, so end up it kinda cracked. and darren can't get his to open. seems like jon is the only one unscathered.
(mental note: improve on my workmanship and make open-able presents)
yeah...really glad that they liked their presents...the most heart-warming was, finally a word of "thanks" from the universally acknowledged unappreciate-er...hahahahaha. finally, we're starting over and there's actions to prove it.
=)it's always nice to hear that "hey this is nice...thanks, you must have taken alot of effort."

i was at my grandma's today to fufill my promised fillial duty...hahahaha, okay jkjk
anyway, i guess my part time job is to be my grandma's secretary. job scope includes waking up with the worms to go market with her to help her carry those heavy stuff. and also to help her read, sweep, clean high and hard to reach places...you get my drift
so after sweeping, i realise my grandma really damn smart. you know we always have a problem with the broom leaning against the dustpan after we sweep right?
so my grandma sorta solved the problem not by buying some fancy dustpan, but just add a clothes peg to kinda clam the broom to the handle of the dustpan
ingenious right? now y didn't we think of that?
