concentration
i realised i'm always damned at the end of the week....can't seem to concentrate a lot.
oh well, maybe it's time i add more oil during my weekends....it's already bad enough that i can't complete my rock and landform reading in this 2 weeks and i still have the rest of litho and hydro to go.
that is so not the way to prepare for exams.

after doing chem papers one after another, i feel that somehow things start to make sense. prelim papers sometimes do make you demoralised because of the way they ask the questions. it's not that you don't know, more of you can't make out what the question is asking for.
and in that sense, english suddenly becomes very important.

some people don't know when and where is the right time to exude the right amount of authourity.
and seriously, the newcomers to the yj family is taking a toll on my nerves...be it injustice or misunderstanding - i'm sure the deeds you do today will come and haunt you in the future.
what is the purpose of what you've done? are you trying to state your place or are you trying to show who's boss around here. and here i am thinking of taking up your profession - to work under people like you.
sorry for being anal about this, but i'm very very sure they didn't intend to do what they did in the first place. given the very obvious facts that she doesn't take geog, and there are like 5 other more effective ways to do it. want me to name all the loopholes in your system?
1) during lib basement examinations, they open 3 doors down there. i can easily take out a book and not be caught.
2) the barcode sticker is like so bloody removable....
3) the windows are like big enough to take any kind of paper-back book out.
4) i can always borrow and not return - happened a lot of times already
5) fundamentally speaking, those books on the shelves are not the up-to-date ones, and so those really precious ones are in the hot-spot. so like why would anyone want to take an 1950's book out?
i'm sure a person as literate as you must have read sherlock holmes. in the story of the beryl coronet, holmes said that, "when you've ruled out the impossible, whatever remaining, however improbable must be the truth." just so you know - it's a widely quoted source for a reason.
you've got all the evidence laid in front of you - and you still insist?
like what vonk said is right, conduct is an assessment of your behaviour for that whole year. i think what you've done is taken the conduct as some sort of a demerit point. like for every speeding incident to mark down demerit points.....but i'm sure they have been good students for the whole 2-3 years and just because of this you mark them down? THAT'LL be anal of you to do so....
一種米, 百種人....some people remind you how important Public Relations is. it is not to please anyone, but rather, to not piss EVERYONE. it seriously wouldn't help if you think about it. who would want to work with someone they do not like? WOULD YOU? so at least make the place as pleasant as possible so at least people will want to work for you, rather than against you.
simple common sense - surely, you don't need a masters in management education to tell you that.
"i don't wish bad things for people, but i don't wish you well"
