when i scanned the examination room after i've finished the chem paper (with still 45mins more to go and a super-urgent bladder), i realised how serene an examination hall can look....
those innocent faces, those busy hands and restless legs....
teachers who are new to this school could be fooled into thinking that everyone is "knowing" and "hard at work".
oh please stay a while longer until the paper ends....and the 45 mins later, you see a mob of jc2s sweating their last desperate answers out and shortly later, a group of students will be eyeing each other - not for answers - to signal their deaths.
yupz.....serenity doesn't last that long pals

12 long years in the system and still counting - i've reached a stretching point where nothing seem to matter anymore.
my only fear is that hibernation may take over and i'll sleep-walk through my a'levels. which is going to be a funeral.
i wouldn't use the word "tired" from studying.
but i'll consider the word "numb" from studying.
and like what i've told guanyu, perhaps we are all stressed to a level where we are numb from it and maybe just to add - become zombie-like.
great....our fore-fathers worked so hard for a better future and here's what they died for:
1) tests and exams
2) sadistic teachers
3) stress
4) endless paper pursuit
5) money
6) people who are more important than their children.
- some may wonder what's number 6?-
- people who are more important than their children? -
yes.....we all do it and are perhaps guilty of it.
we buy magazines and go for the latest gossip because we are concerned about other people's affairs. like how the paparazzi can take endless nude pictures of celebrities and never get out of job.
whatever that is, it's not healthy....why is brad pitt more important than you? because he acted in Troy? or his butt looks good?
seriously, look within yourself and consider - we are all unique and individual and so we are equally as important. all of us have a role to play in this world - whether you like it or not.
my ideas are of course not original - reading "tuesdays with morrie" brought me some insights.
create your own culture and live in it....let others chase the mirage.

now, i really admire people who go for what they want despite what others think of them - like how nat would always zip her skirt and then turn it around (=p) and do volunteer work(which is pretty uncommon these days)
don't be afraid to show what you're made off and offer some ideas - because ultimately, we're really just made out of each other

i forgive you (again) but this time it's going to be different.
