Hurray....it's the day after new year...hahahahaha, guess i was a little late in making my resolutions >.<"
but anyway, since last year, resolutions have no meaning for me anymore...because apparently, keeping to them was one hell of a job.
not that i'm ostracising them forever, just-looking at them in a different light.

People of the lion city...GET REAL!
first, i'm going to start a lecture on RESPECTING people's time--and this is going to be alittle different.
yeah, the expected part where i rant and rave about people being late is going to be part of it, but the other part is somehow-this punctual queen is going to give late-comers some tips...that works for me, so no gurantees here >.<
anyway...getting on to business.
can you ever forgive people who are late? - previously, i couldn't- and i still rank lateness as one of my top 5 hate-list.
recently, i felt myself falling into the habit of late-coming...i think it started out when i knew others would be late anyway...and even though i was late, i'm the earliest of the late.
NOW, get a grip here.
there's not point setting a date-time and not stick to it.
and no point for others to come late when others can come early.
so if you don't mind me saying, or rather, putting it this way - being late is a selfish move, comparable to being direspectful no?
the endless wait on high heels (for girls) and restless tapping of the feet (for guys)...that time can be used for something more efficient.
i don't mind waiting for food, or waiting to pay for something...but i don't like waiting for, well, nothing.
seriously-it's no small issue and personally, i feel that the problem should be nipped at the bud before it grows or blows wide open.
in business, punctuallity IS sincerity.
so kick the habit of being late yo~?

steps to NOT be late
1) Set the irritating alarm of yours
Get something that wails...seriously, if you have a hp alarm, DON'T use songs or radion...they're too pleasant and don't work.
2) Estimation
i'm sure we do that in school....rounding off numbers and everything. why's so hard to put addition and estimation to good use in everyday life? (and what's more is that we Complain that things we learn aren't put into everyday life)
Think thru your everyday journeys and add eg. my bus ride with waiting time is appx 15mins. and the train from Yishun to AMK is 15mins too...so if your date is at 1pm, get your bum out of the house by 12:20pm, PLUS walking time
3) Thought
there should be a consequence if you're late....and some signs on your frustrated friend's faces should tell....change for them okay? change NOW, while your brain is not hard-wired (brains get hard-wired appx at the age of 21).........
4) Will
there's no point saying "i must lose weight" and don't do it...
