An avid collector of your hopes and worries, a romantic at heart.
She thanks her fairies, for blessing her with people who know compassion down to an art.
For accepting her for who she is, who never fails to turn up,
in times of need as well as happiness, or just there for a loving hug.

Let's talk about Love
Let's talk about Love
I wish i could upload the music here...hmm, how do i do that?
anyway, on my way back i was thinking through stuff and landed back on the all time favourite topic
dunno if anyone've realised, music is so commercialised now. yah, go ahead and say "DUH?!!" i know, it's a fact i mean, MTV itself is some sort of commecialism of music agree?
so it struck me that since music is like so everywhere, i mean, you can get it through radios and stuff so why do you still want to buy that album. oh yah, not to mention downloading from websites but yet again, why do you BUY music?
as i was listening to kiss goodbye, it struck me (in the head) that maybe, just maybe, we pay for it because we want to keep it. like "own" it yah? it's "own" and now own, because i believe that music is not owned by anyone. i mean, like look at a score and ask 2 musicians to play the exact same thing, but it doesn't really add up to be the SAME.
but yet, we "own" music in a different way which, luckily, is completely free - no?
like the pleasure of listening to the different different genre of music is a gift. something that is given from the composer, through the musician, to you. so yah, you ask - what's the big deal? it's so obvious.....
perhaps it may seem small to the listener on the other end of the earphone, but somehow or rather, it's kinda rare that anyone acknowledges the composer in pop music. maybe they should adopt the practise from the classics, where you know who-wrote-what kinda of system. so many times my heart goes out to the beautiful lyricists and songwriters who are not acknowledged.
remember the soundtrack of E.T?you know the tune which is associated to the alien right? but can you name the genius behind the score? no....(btw, it's john williams who also happen to have wrote Jaws, Star Wars, The patriot and harry potter etc etc)
hahaha...my intention is not to criticise anyone, but i feel that sometimes, school performances do not do justice to the performing material. there are alot of factors involved like time-constraints, maturity of audience AS WELL AS performers. so maybe i'm a perfectionist. but really, who can be 100% perfect? your interpretation might not widely accepted, no?
anyway, if anyone out there who shares my sentiment, maybe you'll understand how i feel about certain issues regarding the above. maybe some of us aren't really interested in acknowledging the hardwork of the composers, maybe the composers themselves wanna stay out of the limelight.
in any case, the best gift a musician/composer/director/actor/photographer is not the value of it's packaging or reputation for it's consumers - but rather the gift of their art to those who appreciate them, whatever the cost.
Let's talk about love - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Everywhere I go
all the places that I've been
Every smile is a new horizon
on a land I've never seen
There are people around the world
- different faces different names
But there's one true emotion
that reminds me we're the same...
Lets talk about love
From the laughter of a child
to the tears of a grown man
There's a thread that runs right through us all
and helps us understand
As subtle as a breeze
- that fans a flicker to a flame
From the very first sweet melody
to the very last refrain...
Lets talk about love
Lets talk about us
Lets talk about life
Lets talk about trust
Lets talk about love
It's the king of all who live
and the queen of good hearts
It's the ace you may keep up your sleeve
- 'til the name is all but lost
As deep as any sea
- with the rage of any storm
But as gentle as a falling leaf
on any autumn morn...
Lets talk about love - it's all were needin'
Lets talk about us - it's the air we're breathin'
Lets talk about life - I wanna know you
Lets talk about trust - and I wanna show you
Lets talk about love
